Paul Iannello Sr.

Twenty-two years in the pastorate — now pressing on

Paul Iannello Sr. came to Christ in 1984 and soon felt the call to give his life to ministry. After a season of preparation and serving as a youth pastor, the Lord put a single conviction at the center of his heart: families hold the key to a church, a community, and a nation.

On January 31, 1996, he founded a Bible-believing church with the motto, “Rebuilding the heart of America one home at a time.” Out of that burden came Seven Steps to Joy, a series the Lord used to bring more than a thousand people to faith in Christ.

After twenty-two years he handed the pastorate to his son, Luke, and the Lord confirmed His calling of Paul into full-time evangelism. Now he and his wife Jennifer travel to churches across the country with revival meetings, marriage and teen seminars, and the All in the Family Conference — coming alongside pastors as a fellow shepherd, not a stranger.

Jennifer ministers alongside Paul, often singing for the congregations they visit. Pastors regularly note what a blessing she is to their churches and to their own wives.

Where it began

New Beginnings Baptist Church

The church Paul founded still stands in White House, Tennessee — a log-cabin meeting house on land the Lord provided, now pastored by his son, Luke. It remains a picture of what Pressing On Ministries exists to encourage: steadfast, family-centered, Bible-believing local churches.
